Orchestra Studio
Join violinists Elisabeth Perry and Joanna Wronko for this series of twelve 30-minute classes on a selection of the orchestral repertoire required by most orchestras across the world for their auditions. It will cover tutti and solo/leading positions.
Elisabeth will focus on the Tutti repertoire and Joanna will focus on the solo repertoire requirements.
The classes will start on Tuesday March 9th at 16.00 GMT / 17.00 CET and will begin with tutti repertoire alternating every Tuesday with solo repertoire.
The classes will run consecutively for 12 Tuesdays until the end of May.
A scan of the excerpt to be discussed will appear one week before each class.
There will be ample opportunity for interaction and discussion concerning every aspect of this work, and if students would also like to perform an excerpt this will be possible.
