Oli Christen-Drew’s workshops invite you into the old wisdom of pranayama. In combination with modern science he brings his teaching full circle into your daily practice whether as a sports person, a musician, a manager or a surgeon: applied correctly, your breath is your best friend and your strongest instrument for self-regulation! In 2011 Oli moved to Indonesia to start Freedive Flow which he developed into a leading freedive school for professional training. He lives and teaches on Gili Air, Indonesia, and also works regularly in the USA and Switzerland. Born in 1973 in Bern, Switzerland, Oli received classic voice training and studied electric guitar during high school. He decided to keep music as an ambitioned passion, but chose to attain a master’s degree in psychology at the University of Bern as well as pursuing a career in professional handball. Later, he continued his education in freediving and yoga, and is now a freedive instructor and a certified hatha yoga teacher.
Oli has authored freedive education manuals which are referred to worldwide in major freediving agencies, and is head of education of the Molchanovs Wave System. His goal is to make the benefits of correct breathing technique available to everyone in simple words.
