Clíodhna Ní Aodáin is a cellist, conductor, composer, teacher, and creative artist. She is the Artistic Director of "Music for People Europe" and has facilitated music workshops in kindergartens, music schools, refugee camps, and senior residences. Originally from Dublin, Clíodhna currently lives and works in Bern, Switzerland. She teaches cello and a beginner-strings orchestra at the Musikschule Konservatorium Bern and conducts the Orchester Divertimento Bern. She composes music for theatre and performs as a soloist and chamber musician internationally. Clíodhna’s passion is exploring musical expression through improvisation and her most recent project is The Celtic Cello - a multi-track solo performance with a loop station.
