Claire Stefani is the founder of Volute Service International, an active interface between music instrument/accessory makers and orchestral string instrument players and teachers.
Claire’s profound interest in movement efficiency started during her international field hockey career in her native France and deepened through avid amateur chamber music playing. Discovering Body Mapping in 2013 has allowed Claire to better assist well over 1000 musicians in North America and Europe, with a particular interest in optimizing upper string players’ chin/shoulder rest set-up. Claire is an active member of the Performing Arts Medicine Association and a licensed Body Mapping educator. Claire’s French translation of Jennifer Johnson’s second book “Teaching Body Mapping to children” was published in 2019 (Editions Vandevelde).
