Orchestral Audition Secrets

Leon Bosch

Leonbosch5

As Principal Double Bass with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields for twenty years, Leon Bosch has seen a great many orchestral auditions from his side of the desk.

Do young professionals really know what members of a panel look for in a successful candidate? Rhythm, intonation, personality, musicality? In this unique class, Leon will give us some insight into those all important criteria.

This class is open to those wanting to perform and auditors too. Come along and play to Leon, receive constructive feedback, learn from others, and get the motivation to keep improving towards success in your orchestral audition pursuits.

If you would like to register your interest as a performer in this class, please email zen@the-exhale.com. The class is open to violin, viola, cello and double bass performers. Please bring the first movement of a classical concerto and a small personal selection (one or two) of excerpts from the following: Mozart 39/40/41 and/or Beethoven 5 & 7.
